The latest version of GE Centricity Business Credit Card Core supports TC IPA™, giving clients greater benefits including a path to EMV and reduced PCI DSS scope.
South Coast Metro, California, May 18, 2017 — TrustCommerce®, leading provider of secure payment solutions, is pleased to announce our most recent integration with GE Healthcare software, Centricity Business Credit Card Core v3.0. The latest GE software version supports TC IPA™ – Integrated Payment Application, giving clients greater benefits including EMV support, Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), and reduced PCI DSS scope.
The GE Centricity Business Credit Card Core module allows GE users in a variety of environments to process payments from patients who want to pay for services with a credit card or ACH. The new version of GE’s software features improved security and greater reduction of PCI DSS scope. By only supporting encrypting card devices, sensitive data will be protected from the point of entry.
“As the breadth of payment options in healthcare expands, risk increases. The GE Centricity Business and TC IPA integration greatly reduces payment acceptance risk, PCI scope and significantly eases compliance efforts,” said Rob Caulfield, Chief Executive Officer of TrustCommerce.
TC IPA™ is a cloud-based payment application that redefines the way organizations manage their payments infrastructure. It lets clients centralize payments, compliance, and EMV requirements to a single application that specializes in processing credit cards and ACH securely. TC IPA supports both EMV and non-EMV transactions.
TC IPA reduces, if not eliminates, the client’s network environment from PCI scope as the Primary Account Number (PAN) data will never go through GE Centricity Business. With TrustCommerce managing all devices, client-side (or client managed) systems do not receive PCI data and are removed from scope.
Together, these solutions provide many benefits including:
- Comprehensive payment support for front office and back office.
- Point-to-point encryption for in-person patient payments.
- Ability to accept EMV chip card transactions to reduce card present counterfeit fraud.
Partners for more than 10 years, TrustCommerce works closely with GE Healthcare to support mutual clients.
